Freeway Ministries Jefferson City

Freeway Ministries Jefferson City is an addiction outreach ministry that models the successful Freeway Ministries model from the Freeway Ministries World Headquarters located in Springfield MO. The mission of Freeway Ministries is to reach the hard to reach with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are here to give hope to those who may feel like there is no hope and are stuck in the addictions of this world. Freeway meets every Friday @ Concord Baptist Church in the Student Center @ 6 pm. There is a hot meal at 6 pm followed by the worship service at 6:30 pm. Childcare is available for children up to 3rd grade. We also have a clothes ministry to help those in need.

Connect With Us!

Freeway Ministries exists to help you find God no matter where you are in life. We welcome anyone and everyone. Freeway wants to help you first connect to God and then get you plugged into a local church. We believe that God can redeem you no matter what you have done, no matter what bridges you have burned, and no matter what everyone around you has told you. We are firsthand witnesses of how God can bring restoration to your life through salvation and trust in Jesus Christ.

NEED A RIDE?

Need a ride to Friday night Freeway? Below are common questions about our policy and procedures.

  • How do I get a ride?

To get a ride, call, text, or leave a message at 573-691-9997.

This number is only used to schedule rides. All other questions need to be made using the phone number at the bottom of this webpage.

  • What is the deadline to schedule a ride?

The deadline to schedule a ride is Thursday by 5 pm. This allows our drivers to have ample time to coordinate rides and routes for our Friday night service.

  • How do I make changes or cancel a ride?

If you need to cancel or make a change to your ride arrangements, please call by Friday at 2 pm.

  • What is the 3 strike rule?

The 3-strike rule is for no-shows. If you have scheduled a ride but fail to cancel before pickup and do not show up, that is a strike. If you get 3 strikes, you will not be eligible to receive a ride for 30 days. This rule is in place to help ensure that our resources for picking up people are utilized well. We want to be able to provide rides to those who truly need and want one.

  • Do I need to call every week I need a ride?

If you are currently in an established transportation routine and all parties have agreed, you will not need to call this number each week to schedule a ride. If your arrangements change, you will still need to call to cancel or make changes.

  • What kind of rides do you provide?

The rides we provide are only for our Freeway Friday night services. We are not currently offering any other ride types.

  • I have a walker or wheelchair, can you accomidate those?

Yes, we can, but we kindly request that you provide us with that information when you schedule your ride. This will enable us to offer the most appropriate assistance.

  • Can I be denied a ride?

Our volunteer drivers reserve the right to deny a person a ride for whatever reason they see fit. If you have a complaint, you can reach out to us at 573-893-2876.
