Faith is essential for every disciple of Jesus Christ. We need faith to be saved and we also need faith to follow Him. Monte New Pic cropped smallCertainly if we are going to make a difference in this world our faith must be on display. This morning we are looking at “The Faith of a Disciple” and doing so primarily through the life of Simon Peter. He displayed great faith (at times), but it was faith that developed through his many struggles. Struggles are part of the growth process.

Tonight we will look at “The Fears of a Disciple.” As a disciple, we have some common fears. We want to accept the challenges and avoid the pitfalls common to many disciples. Sunday nights are good and I hope you come back for some extra encouragement tonight.

Over the past year we have witnessed a growth in one-on-one discipleship. Are you a believer that needs someone to come alongside you to help you grow? Are you a disciple with a heart to help another believer grow? We have a place for you to plug in. We have a process of discipleship that is helping. It is time to get involved.

January is Global Impact month at Concord. Our goal this year is $60,000 above our regular tithes and offerings. This special offering is received over the next twelve months. Use the card in today’s bulletin to make your commitment. Our missionaries and mission projects are dependent on our faithfulness. Thank you for being faithful givers.

Your Servant in Christ,
Bro. Monte
