There is so much that threatens to creep into our lives that dishonors the Lord. Sometimes we lose sight of why we do what we do. I don’t want that to happen here, and this morning I want to offer some words of warning as well as words of encouragement.

Talented guitarist, David Smart will be in concert with us at Concord Baptist Church on Sunday evening March 7, at 6:00PM.
There are three services on Sundays. Two morning worship services and one evening. The morning worship times are at 9:15am and 10:45am. The single evening worship service begins at 6:00pm.
Sunday Bible studies are wrapped around our two morning worship services. There are three different time slots for the Bible studies. The earliest is 8:00am, followed by 9:15am, and finally at 10:45am.

Women’s Ministry will be involved with GPS (God’s Plan for Sharing)
The women of Concord will join with the entire church family as we go out into the community and place invitations on nearly 10,000 doors on Saturday, March 20. We have dubbed this event as “Girlfriends Conquering Neighborhoods”. We will meet in the gym at 8:00 for breakfast, some training and to get our assignments. Each team will have 200 doors to deliver information to. Ask a friend to go with you. Get out the …

I have been studying the principals of pain and suffering in the life of a Christian lately, and I have found some very helpful truths. Some in our church family have struggled with job loss, health issues, relationship uncertainties, and other pressing matters. This has caused me to think about the benefits of pain and suffering.
