Be with us this Sunday as we make a special recognition gift of the Bible used in the highly successful 24/7 Bible reading and prayer program that we just completed.

Begins March 14, 7:15 PM – be a part of honoring God.

The ongoing prayer ministry of Concord Baptist Church invites all the church family to take part in a special time of prayer, set apart to thank God for the powerful impact of His love upon us and to pray that He will make Himself even more real through us that others would also come to know Him.

Beginning on the evening of March 14, and continuing through the week, we will undertake as a church family an around the clock “Read Through the Bible” and accompanying prayer time.  Can you “tarry for just short while” and take your turn at the alter to pray and/or at the pulpit to read as we unite as a church family to bring the Truth of God’s Word deeper into our own lives and present it to those around us.

Another place to participate is to be a “waver”.  Have you seen the gentleman on our corner on Sunday mornings greeting those who drive by?  He is widely appreciated and noticed in our community.  When he isn’t, our phones ring inquiring about his well being.  The impact is so great that we are going to take advantage of it and post someone on that corner in hour long shifts from 8:00am to 6:00pm on the Monday before Easter until Easter Sunday.

Volunteers are need to work security during the days of prayer and Bible reading.  Contact the church office if you will work a block of overnight hours while others pray.
