As we study the word of God there are so many subjects to examine.  So many topics to deal with.  There is no greater topic for a gospel preacher than “Jesus Christ: the Son of the Living God”.  This was Simon Peter’s confession at the foot of Mt Hermon.  It is the confession of every true believer.  It is certainly my confession today.
 
Many people who call themselves “Christian” do not have that same confession.  They respect Jesus and may see Him as one savior among many, one way among many or one truth among many.  Whenever someone sees him as “the one and only” I know that they didn’t learn this by flesh and blood.  The Father in heaven certainly revealed this to them.  Has Jesus been revealed to you as the Christ, the Son of the Living God?  I desire this for you above all else.
 
We had a wonderful Vacation Bible School this past week.  It is a real honor to have 200 boys and girls in our building everyday learning the truths of God’s word.  Concord has a wonderful group of workers.  Over 120 various volunteers pitched in to teach and do all the little things that go with a great Bible School.  God bless all of you for your faithfulness.
 
Student Ministry Camp is this week.  As you prayed this past week for VBS please transfer that focused prayer toward our youth.  We look forward to good reports.
